At Catapult Academy, students explore a wide range of artistic media while building strong artistic foundations. Through small-group instruction and guidance from professional visual artists, students develop creativity and independence while using the studio as a platform to practice leadership, communication, and decision-making.

Kids and Teen Art Classes
Catapult Academy offers progressive art classes for children ages 5 and up, combining artistic development with creativity, independence, and leadership. Through drawing, painting, sculpture, and printmaking, students build strong foundational skills while developing their individual artistic voices.
Our small-group classes are taught by professional visual artists and offered year-round, including during the summer. We also offer specialized summer camps in June and July.

75-minutes group class, once a week. Studentas 5+ yrs old. You commit to come to a specific day and time.

If you don't see a class time you want, ask us. To open a new schedule we need three students.
What Happens After Registering
Our art rooms at all the way in the back of our building. So walk to end of the hallway.
What to bring to your first class:
- A water bottle with a cap (so we keep artworks safe on the tables)
- A couple of recent artworks so we can learn more about your strenghts and interests.
- Clothes you don't mind getting stained.

1. What age group are the classes for?
Our kids' art classes are designed for children ages 5 and up.
2. Do you offer classes for teens?
Your teen is welcome to join any schedule. Additionally we have a dedicated teen session on Tuesdays at 5:30pm.
3. How often do the classes meet?
Classes meet once a week for 75 minutes.
4. Are the clases available year-round?
Yes! Our art classes run continuously throughout the year, including summer.
5. The school semester has already started. Can I still sign up?
Absolutely! We offer rolling enrollment, so you can join at any time.

No need to wait! Our classes follow a regular schedule year-round, so you can start whenever it’s convenient for you.
6. I’m a beginner. Will these classes be a good fit?
Yes! We start with the fundamentals of art and design, providing a strong foundation for new artists.
7. I’m an advanced young artist. Will I be challenged?
Definitely! Our instructors help refine your skills, deepen your artistic understanding, and guide you in developing your unique artistic style.
8. Do students need to bring their own supplies?
No, we provide all necessary supplies. In addition to the monthly tuition, there is a supply fee due every 6 months. The supply fee is due upon enrollment.
9. Is there a registration fee?
No, but there's the supply fee due every 6 months.
10. What if my student misses a class due to sickness?
You can schedule a make-up class in any of the other available class times, subject to availability. You have one make-up class per month.
11. How do I schedule a make-up class?
You can schedule your make-up class from your Catapult online account.
12. Can parents stay during class?
Parents are welcome to wait for your students in the gallery areas. Only registered students can be in the classrooms.
13. Do you offer siblings discount?
Yes, second sibling receives 10%
14. If I enroll in more than one session, do I get a discount?
Yes, 10%
15. Do students participate in art shows?
Yes! Catapult hosts two student art shows each year, one in the spring and one in the winter. All students are welcome to participate and showcase their artwork.
Additionally we motivate students to apply to different shows in the community and participate in public art projects when the studio gets invited.
A Program Designed for Growth
Our progressive curriculum allows students to build strong artistic foundations while developing their skills, artistic understanding, and independence. Instructors guide each student’s development and progression along the way.
All students begin at the White Level and advance at their individual pace.

Adult Art Classes
Adults art classes are tailored to students' interests and media of their choice. It's never too late to start in the visual arts or to hone your current skills. We are proud to offer a robust curriculum of different techniques: acrylics, watercolor, soft pastels, oil pastels, mixed media, basics of sculpture (modeling), charcoal, color pencils, ink, introduction to printmaking using gelli plates.
Our curriculum includes the above techniques and the following: How to plan and start an artwork, composition, color theory and history and appreciation of art.

What Happens After Registering?
When you register, please email to info@catapult-art.com a couple of images of your recent artworks. Then we'll give you a call to discuss your artworks, learn more about your artistic interests, art experience, your favorite medium, etc. This will help suggest an appropriate project for you on your first class. After this call we'll provide you with a supply list.
