Catapult Academy Summer Art Camps offer young artists an immersive studio experience filled with creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning. Through drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media, students develop new skills, experiment with artistic processes, and build confidence while creating original works of art.

Service Description
Dive into a hands-on studio adventure where students explore the exciting worlds of painting and sculpture! This camp is perfect for emerging and intermediate young artists who want to try new techniques or refine their skills across multiple media while creating expressive, professional-quality artwork.
What students will explore:
Drawing – Charcoal, pencils, conte, and ink. Master expressive line, perspective, gesture, and shadow. Printmaking – Create intricate designs with gelli plates Painting – Watercolor, acrylics, soft pastels, oil pastels, experiment with gradients, brushwork, layering, texture, and color mixing. Sculpture – build three-dimensional forms using diverse materials.
Camp Outcomes:
Students will complete a portfolio with multiple high-quality projects and develop a strong foundation in artistic techniques. Each project is designed to nurture self-expression while giving students hands-on experience with the tools and processes used by professional artists.
