KIDS MUSIC
Weekly group classes
Full Keyboard Music Class, for beginners and intermediate students. Focused on nurturing artistic habits that will lay the foundation for musical excellence. Classes are tailored to bring out each student's personality and potential.

This class is designed for students at both beginner and intermediate levels, offering a solid foundation for those just starting out and a chance for more experienced students to deepen their skills. Through personalized instruction, students will learn essential piano techniques, including note reading, hand coordination, and musical expression. Intermediate students will be guided through more advanced pieces, chord progressions, and dynamic playing to refine their abilities.

Students learn using the Pronto method that guarantees learning at a faster pace. Practicing at home will be fun because our students will enjoy free access to the Maestro Joyful Tunes App (apple).

In this class students will be introduced to the fundamentals of vocals.

Let's celebrate together at the end of the semester all your musical accomplishments at the students' recital on Wednesday December 18th, 2024. The recital will be held after class, at 7pm.

Mrs. Lara brings a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to her role as a music mentor at Catapult. With a Bachelor in Music Education from Texas Lutheran College, she has built a robust career in music education that spans over two decades.
​
For the past seven years, Mrs. Lara has been the driving force behind one of Richmond's community choirs, where she has not only led but also inspired singers of all ages and backgrounds. Her leadership in this role has fostered a vibrant musical community and provided countless individuals with the opportunity to experience the joy of choral singing.
​
Mrs. Lara has an extensive background in private music instruction. She's helped numerous young students develop their musical skills, whether they are just beginning their journey or seeking to refine their talents. Her personalized approach to teaching ensures that each student receives the attention and guidance they need to thrive.
