Carmen Flores

Flores is a native of Culiacan, Mexico and has been residing in the Houston area for 15 years.  Her body of work is focused in drawings that explores the process of normalization of violence in our culture.  Common images in her works include outlined silhouettes of characters running, shooting, or wounded. She borrows imagery from mass media.
