Armando Rodriguez

Rodriguez is a multidisciplinary artist who has been residing in Houston for the past 40 years.  His body of work encompasses painting, drawing, photography, graphic design, xylography, serigraphy, and linoleum, among other techniques. He was born in Mexico, at the Ejido Ignacio Zaragosa. 

The artwork “El hombre atómico” (The atomic man) exhibited at Capatpult references Rufino Tamayo’s early work about the World War. Rodriguez is interested in depicting the transformation on humans during war.
