Charles Weiss

Charles Weiss is a native of Lynchburg. He studied Commercial Art and currently creates from his studio located in East Downtown Houston, Texas. Weiss has exhibited in different galleries and national juried shows in Houston, Chicago, South Carolina and New York.

Whether hiking through the vast landscape of a national park, traversing through a small

European village, or cycling in a graffiti covered urban setting with a limited view of a skyline, he is equally amazed at the world we live in. His pieces also reference the works of American abstract expressionism. He combines different types of paints in order to create interesting textures on the canvas.
